“Nothing that is shown belongs to me” – RT in French

The Russian president responded to the corruption accusations leveled against him by Alexeï Navalny in a video dedicated to the so-called “Putin’s palace”. The leader sees this process as an attempt to “brainwash”.

“Nothing that is shown [dans la vidéo d’Alexeï Navalny] as being my property does not belong to me or to my relatives ”: it is with these words that Vladimir Poutine swept aside, on January 25, the accusations formulated against him by the Russian opponent. In a video survey recently posted online, and called “A Palace for Putin: History of the Biggest Bribe”, Alexeï Navalny made particular reference to an opulent residence on the shores of the Black Sea, supposedly belonging to the chief of ‘State.

Referring to the video during a televised meeting with Russian students, Vladimir Putin said he had not watched it, and considered that it was an attempt to “brainwash”.

“I didn’t watch this movie, just because I don’t have time for that kind of information. On the other hand, I browsed playlists selected by my helpers. Right away to answer your question: nothing that is shown [dans la vidéo d’Alexeï Navalny] as being my property does not belong to me or to my relatives, and has never belonged to me. Ja-mais, ”the Russian president said during a conference with students broadcast by the public 24-hour news channel Rossia 24.
