Problem, “to date, distributors cannot provide us with this new fuel by July 1, 2021, the expiry date of the law. The sector is not ready, ”laments Norbert Guillou, the Morbihan president of the National Chamber of Craftsmen of Public Works and Landscape (CNATP) who immediately rejects the government’s proposal to force the use of white diesel. “It’s a categorical refusal,” thunders the union representative. “The government cannot thus derogate from the 2020 Finance law”.
A first coup from May 28
“The list of materials could not be completed despite several meetings and appointments with
the ministries concerned. We want to keep RNG as long as the new fuel is not operational ”. Without an agreement within the next few weeks, the industry calls for a first mobilization on Friday, May 28, a movement that could result in snail operations on the road networks. “If necessary, we will block the oil depots again in June,” warns Norbert Guillou, who says “that he has no other choice to ensure the future of our companies.
