No link between COVID vaccine and cardiac deaths in young people

The Centers for Disease Control said it found no link between COVID-19 vaccines and cardiac deaths among young people.

The findings come from an analysis of death certificates of Oregon residents who died of any heart disease or unknown reasons between June 2020 and 2021 and December 2020 and 2022, according to the CDC.

The study examined more than 1,300 death certificates of people aged 16 to 30. Of the 101 death certificates for which a cardiac event was not ruled out as the cause of death, 40 people were vaccinated, and only three of them received the vaccine within 100 days of death.

The study responded to claims that young people would suffer from inflammation of the heart muscle after receiving the vaccine.
