The Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up to play in the Super Bowl for the second time in six seasons.

Last week, many Eagles fans celebrated the anniversary of their first Super Bowl title.

Even though their team looks very different now, there is one player who is still loved in Philadelphia.

It’s quarterback Nick Foles.

We’ve seen Foles try and fail in many different places in the league, but the only place he was successful was in Philadelphia.

Foles had one of the great playoffs in that 17-18 season, earning him the Super Bowl MVP title.

During that run, he threw for 323.7 yards per game and 373 yards and three Super Bowl touchdowns.

He even caught a touchdown on perhaps the best play in Eagles history.

As Foles enters the final stretch of his career, he has made it clear which team he wants to retire with.

Foles has a statue outside Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles.

Additionally, he is the first quarterback in team history to lead them to a Super Bowl.

He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of every Eagles fan.

Whenever Foles decides to retire, it will be interesting to see if he enters the Eagles Hall of Fame.

Although he only played five seasons with the team, he bowled professionally.

Plus, the aforementioned Super Bowl should carry a lot of weight.

Especially if the Eagles don’t win the big game ahead.

Foles did something some of the franchise’s best players couldn’t.

There’s no doubt he should retire as an Eagle and has a strong case for joining the team Hall of Fame.
