The long wait is over and it seems to have been worth it.
After months of inaction on the part of the Cowboys regarding quarterback Dak Prescott, it looks like Dallas will be making a sizable investment in the sixth-year caller. According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Prescott signed a four-year agreement worth $ 160 million on Monday.
It would include $ 126 million guaranteed and a record signing bonus of $ 66 million in the NFL; NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added that the contract also includes no-trade and no-tag clauses.
The Cowboys award Dak Prescott a four-year, $ 160 million contract, including a record $ 126 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN.
The first three years average $ 42 million per year.
