Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson wore a personalized Liverpool jersey and boots as he arrived at Wembley Stadium.
The star – who is in London for his team’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday – married his wife, singer Ciara, in the city in 2016.
But ahead of his side’s game in the capital, Wilson was seen wearing the Reds shirt, with ‘Wilson 3’ on the back, and red Liverpool boots as he walked around the pitch.
And it turns out the power couple received the personalized Reds shirts.
The NFL star even got his own custom pair of boots from the club.
“What’s up, Liverpool team? Russell Wilson here,” the quarterback said with a smile in a video on NFL social media ahead of the Reds’ loss to Leeds.
“I like the shirt, I like you guys. Me and Ciara got married at Liverpool.
“So Liverpool has a special place in my heart. I have the new boots, the Liverpool boots.
