NFL roster cuts in 2024: Predicting the biggest names that could hit the market | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats & Rumors

Despite appearing in just six games with four starts for the Baltimore Ravens in 2022, quarterback Tyler Huntley made the Pro Bowl as an alternate.

The 26-year-old has 20 appearances and nine starts in total to his name, making him one of the most experienced substitutes in the league.

However, Huntley could end up in Cleveland after just a few months. The Browns signed Jameis Winston to be Deshaun Watson’s backup this offseason and are counting on their 2023 fifth-round pick Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Thompson-Robinson was a two-time starter for the Browns last season and has shown plenty of physical potential over the past two preseasons. Cleveland is open to cashing in on his potential through a trade.

“A league source said the Browns are open to engaging in discussions about trading Thompson-Robinson with teams looking to bolster their quarterback rooms,” wrote Zac Jackson of The Athletic.

However, if the Browns don’t find a trade partner for the second-year quarterback, Huntley could be on his way out. Cleveland would only save $682,600 by releasing the Utah product, but the team might not be willing to keep four quarterbacks on the active roster — although after last year’s injuries at the position, that might not be the worst idea.
