The developers of the PUBG mobile survival game franchise are reportedly using Unreal Engine 5 for its next installment.
It’s no secret that the sequel to the famous movie is in development. The project said to be titled PUBG 2 is slated for release next year provided there are no obstacles in the way for the team.
The company, as of yet, has not announced the release date and title of the project.
A Twitter user by the name of PlayerIGN has been spreading rumors about PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds upcoming sequel.
He shared a photo of the job posting in which PUBG Corporation is hiring a technical animator and a technical artistic director for an “announced project”.

The job posting pretty much sums up the fact that PUBG Corporation will now be using Unreal Engine 5 instead of its predecessor. Krafton has yet to formalize it.
Unreal Engine will allow developers to include better graphics, high tech performance, and allow the company to deliver content that will monetize the player’s money and value.
