The Brooklyn Nets have a problem on their hands regarding their new point guard, Ben Simmons, who was acquired from Philadelphia in the James Harden trade.

On Thursday, March 10, the Nets and Sixers will face off for the first time since the deal was reached at the trade deadline.

While Harden is off to a strong start in Philadelphia, there are still doubts surrounding Simmons who shouldn’t be available to play in Philly’s game in Brooklyn, with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski saying there is no “no chance” that Simmons will be on the field for this game.

Bad news

That’s not good news for the Nets, who already suffered an epic loss earlier this season and sit ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 32-33 record.

In order to get back on their feet, the Nets will need to have their roster complete.

Simmons is obviously uninjured, but still despises the 76ers for allegedly not use one’s potential and is afraid of being booed when he returns to Philadelphia

Without Simmons, they are now in a perilous position as they prepare for their game against Philadelphia, which sits 39-24 and is second in the Eastern Conference.

The Nets are struggling to stay in playoff position.

They are currently 3-7 in their previous 10 games, and the Wizards and Hawks are hot on their heels.

For Nets fans, it’s also a big deal.

Simmons being afraid of being booed doesn’t exactly earn him fan support.

If anything, fans may lose respect for him because of it, and that’s not a good look for someone who just joined his team.
