Basketball presenter had to reassure fans she was okay after painful slide following post-game interview
NBA reporter Kristina Pink suffered a heavy fall on the field as the presenter’s high heels gave her problems as she covered the LA Clippers game against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Clippers defeated the visiting Hawks with a 106-93 victory at the newly renamed Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday night, with Amir Coffey scoring 21 points to help his team end a three-game losing streak.
NBA reporter Pink spoke to Coffey about his joint career points record after the game, which was celebrated by teammates hosing down the 24-year-old.
Pink concluded the interview by telling Coffey to “go dry yourself” – though she might have wished the court officials had done a better job of removing moisture from the surface.
No sooner had Pink said these words than she slipped face first onto the pitch, the scenes (and an ominous thud) being picked up by the camera.
A worried-looking Coffey was among those who moved in and helped while Pink lay on her back before she was helped.
“Looks like she laughed about it but I hope she’s okay!” noticed a worried spectator.
Fortunately, the Fox reporter then took to social media to reassure fans that she was fine.
“For all those who ask, I’m fine There was water on the ground … Appreciate all the messages”, the presenter tweeted.
For all those who ask, I’m fine ❤️ There was water on the ground … Appreciate all the posts.

Pink is a regular show for NBA viewers and also covers NFL games in her role for Fox.
She’ll likely prepare for the Clippers’ next home game as they host the Denver Nuggets in LA on Tuesday night.
