National: the perfect shot from Albi to Narbonne! The SCA achieves a seventh victory in a row

New success for the Albigensians, won this time on the lawn of the Parc des Sports de Narbonne (18-30), Saturday January 28, during the 17th day of National. Authors of a strong match, the Tarnais continue their march forward.
Hat, scarf, down jacket, blanket, the winter gear was out in Narbonne. Only a resounding victory for Orange et Noir could have warmed up the atmosphere. But it was Albi who air-conditioned a stadium already petrified with cold.
In the first moments, Racing played with frozen hands, cold fingers and it was Albi who unlocked the scoreboard (0-3, 4). Pierre-Hugo Ducom wakes up his team on his wing. The forwards dominate on the following maul, and on a quickly played penalty, Luke Nakobukobua springs (7-3, 11). But the revolt is short-lived, since on the dismissal, the Albigensians strike two blows with the club to the Audois.

National: the SCA can hit (very) hard in Narbonne this Saturday evening
First on a tumble from Paul Clergue, then on an interception by Enzo Marzocca (7-17, 15th). Racing is affected. Heads are already low. The RCN tries to get their hands on the ball, to put their game in place. In vain. Nothing succeeds. And Albi continues its momentum, with a third try by Simon Andreu (7-24, 25). Since nothing is going well, a new sign will show that it was not the right evening.
The third row Nakobukobua is forced out of the field, hit in the ankle. An injury that further weakens Narbonne. These first 40 minutes are clearly to be forgotten (10-24).
The dynamic is always good
Upon returning from the locker room, a thinning seemed to occur when Tom Chauvet added three points (13-24, 50). It was then that the Parc des Sports woke up. Sandrick Maciotta, guilty of a delayed tackle, leaves Albi outnumbered.

National: the SCA wins a half-hearted victory against Hyères
After several playing times, the ball arrives on the wing. Pierre-Hugo Ducom seized it and went on a solo trial (18-24, 56). But then, appearances are not all deceiving. The essential winger for the Audois comes out on injury, too, suffering from the ankle. It is the carnage. Gilen Queheille adds six points to the counter to seal the score. (18-30, 72).
RC Narbonnais lost at home, when they were on a strong dynamic with only one defeat in the last eight games. But now, Albi is strong and the RCN ends this block – which had started very well with two victories against Bourgoin-Jallieu (36-20) and Suresnes (13-36) – with a logical defeat. For its part, the Yellow and Black are still riding their wave of results, signing in the Aude a seventh consecutive victory.
