National Anthem Stunner: 8-Year-Old Girl Wows the Crowd with “Star-Spangled Banner”

A young singer who lives in Florida captured national attention for her powerful performance of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ just before a recent Miami Heat basketball game – and it wasn’t the first time she wowed a crowd with his ability to sing.
Eight-year-old Pranysqa Mishra has “a beautiful voice,” the “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-hosts said on Sunday.
The girl joined the program to discuss her ability to sing – and how her sudden stardom became.

“I started singing when I was about four,” she told the show.
“From there, I started singing for the community,” added Mishra, who is in her second year.

She said she started playing the piano – then her parents realized she had a vocal gift.
His family moved from Canada to Florida, they told media earlier, to help support and develop his talent.

Things progressed quickly — and soon she was singing for the Washington Wizards, LA Lakers, and other NBA teams.

When it comes to top pop singers she looks up to, Mishra said she loves and appreciates the work of Jennifer Hartson, Kelly Clarkson, and Lady Gaga.
She said while the Miami Heat basketball players practiced before a game while she rehearsed, she didn’t “really” think they would stop what they were doing and give her any attention.

“But they stopped,” she said, smiling.
The Heat’s Bam Adebayo approached her – and shook her hand.

She said she felt “proud and honored” when she sang “The Star-Spangled Banner,” she told “Fox & Friends Weekend,” “for my country and my veterans.”
