Nancy Pelosi posts sarcastic ad wanted to break GOP pressure on Liz Cheney

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Ridiculed the GOP’s growing anger at Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), But she did so with a sense of humor on Tuesday. She posted a fake help-seeking ad that artfully insulted the Republican leadership.

Conservative House leaders would like Cheney to be ousted from his post as Speaker of the Republican House Conference after his repeated criticisms of Donald Trump and his lies about the 2020 election. Cheney was one of 10 House Republicans in the House who voted to remove him for inciting the Capitol riot.

Minority House Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) Was reportedly surprised Tuesday by a hot microphone from Fox News saying, “I had it with her. You know, I lost my confidence …. Well, somebody just has to make a motion, but I guess it probably will. (McCarthy has publicly stated that he is concerned about his “message”.)

Pelosi, the most powerful woman in the House, took note. Her blog posted a fake ad titled “From GOP Leadership: Help Wanted – Non-Threatening Female.”

“Rumor has it that House GOP leaders are seeking to push Representative Liz Cheney out of her post as Speaker of the House Republican Conference – their oldest woman in the GOP leadership – for a litany of very Republican reasons. : she won’t lie, she is not humble enough, she’s like a girlfriend looking for the wrong team, and more, ”the post said.

“So what exactly are GOP House leaders looking for in a No.3? Punchbowl AM got the scoop and, well, it’s no surprise… they want a woman who isn’t a ‘threat’ to them, ”he continued.
