Nagarjuna Akkineni to star in Telugu remake of THIS hit Malayalam movie

Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, at this stage of his career, is being very cautious about choosing his next screenplays. The actor’s recent film The Ghost, released during Dasara, flopped at the box office. While the actor had high expectations for the film, it was a disappointment for him and his fans as well.
After The Ghost, Nagarjuna has not announced what his next film will be. But according to the latest update, Nagarjuna has lined up three movies. The actor was reportedly approached by a rookie director for the remake of a Malayalam film.
Recently, producer Abhishek Agarwal, who has made films like Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2, announced that he has bought the remake rights to the hit Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose and will release it in multiple languages. This announcement is one of the most exciting announcements of recent times.
As said, this remake will be directed by a newbie and Abhishek Aggarwal was also said to be okay with the choice of actors. Nagarjuna will therefore play the lead role in the remake of the Malayalam thriller.
On the other side, Nagarjuna is said to collaborate with writer Prasanna which is the main reason why Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka became a box office hit. Prasanna is now said to be making his directorial debut with Nagarjuna’s next. Official confirmation on this is awaited.
Nagarjuna was appreciated for his performance in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra.
