My advice to Kyle would be to change his name, start life over

Kyle Rittenhouse’s attorney, Mark Richards, said on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” Monday that his advice to his 18-year-old client was to “change his name and start his life over.”

Richards said, “I think there are a lot of people out there who want to use Kyle on their own. I think the way Rittenhouse’s name has evolved right now on Twitter – and that’s what we live in, it’s a Twitter company – people want to use his name, spread it out so they can do advertising. I think it’s cheap. That’s what I think.”

MacCallum said, “What advice do you have for him on how he should live his life from now on?”

Richards said: “Yes my advice would be to change his name and start his life over. He’s very recognizable right now. There are a lot of people who I think don’t have his best interests at heart and want to probably make him a symbol of something that I don’t think he necessarily wants to be associated with. And once you give up your name and image and join those causes, I think a lot of people will use you. for their own purposes, and you will no longer be able to control it.

Richards added, “We had this conversation with Kyle. It’s going to be a fine line where he decides to go. In the end, I hope he makes the right choices. I think his life would be so much better. easy to be anonymous and move on with your life rather than trying to keep your staunch supporters happy.
