Thirsk Betting Tips

3:30 p.m.: Chandonomore 4/1 (1pt)

A very interesting two-year-old novice bets at Thirsk, with Zabriskie Point the clear favorite in this six-runner race.

The Blue Point colt appeared to have received a tough grade last time out, but despite finishing fourth, he was losing weight to 13 rivals, including the next Group 3 winner, Starlust.

He showed that he is at this level now while the others still have question marks over their abilities, especially on today’s soft pitches.

Although Candonomore is in good to soft form at York placing a short head second on debut behind Loose Cannon in July.

He hasn’t been seen since and this form works well and although 6lbs is too high a price not to back him, the potential of this horse is much higher.

Worcester Betting Tips

2.05: Fringill Dyke 1/1 (1pt)

He made a good impression on his pursuit debut in May and followed that up with another win at the end of August at Uttoxeter, to make it two wins from two over fences.

Big King is an intriguing near-odds contender, but he’s on a losing streak, managing trainer James Owen for the first time since leaving Gordon Elliott, and all of that makes him difficult to back once again .

Glory And Honor also made a good start over hurdles and was only narrowly beaten by Guinness Affair last week, but he quickly re-emerges after a busy summer on the flat.

2:40 p.m.: La Domaniale 7/1 one way (1pt)

Better off in the weights now for Hang In There who won well at Stratford last time, but La Domaniale looks to have an excellent one way price now 8lb down.

She’s gone from good to sweet before and shouldn’t be left out in that kind of area.

Kempton Betting Tips

7:00 a.m.: Pons Aelius 7/2 (1pt)

He seems the most reliable in these conditions, especially after having already won on the course and the distance.

Study The Stars takes on 2m for the first time, Charles St finished a distant second on his return to the flat in September and it’s hard to say how well he will fare in all weathers.

Pons Aelius beat Mountain Road in June by more than nine lengths and still looks a threat just 1lb from that victory.
