Mom saves baby boy by fighting tiger with bare hands in India


A woman has been hospitalized with serious injuries after battling a tiger that tried to take her baby to India.

Her 15-month-old son was also injured in the head in the attack which took place on the outskirts of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in northeast India on Sunday, the BBC reported.

Archana Choudhary was taking her son Raviraj outside their hut to relieve himself when a tiger, believed to have come from the nearby reserve in Madhya Pradesh, attacked, according to the outlet.

The couple were in a field when the tiger came out of the bushes and attacked the baby.
