Moil reduces prices of all ferrous grades of manganese ore by 7.5%

The state-owned manganese ore mining company MOIL Ltd. revised the prices of different grades of manganese ore and other products by 7.5% compared to current prices, effective Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Nagpur-headquartered Mini-Ratna said prices of all Ferro grades of manganese ore with manganese content of 44% and above have been reduced by 7.5%.

Likewise, prices for all other Ferro grades of manganese ore with metal content below 44%, SMGR (30% and 25% manganese content), and Fine and Chemical grades are unchanged.

The base price of electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) has been increased from Rs 1.7 lakh per metric ton to Rs 1.8 lakh per metric ton for the month of November.

Shares of MOIL were trading at Rs 154.35, up 0.065%, as of 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.

MOIL shares are fluctuating between gains and losses, currently trading down 0.2% to Rs 154 as of 12:50 p.m. The stock is down almost 10% this year.
