MLB fans have to wait a long time for the next 3,000 hit moment

With legendary Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera just one hit away from hitting the 3,000 hit mark, it’s time to take a look at the list of active MLB leaders.

Cabrera is second on the list, behind Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals.

But when we look at the list of the most successful active players in their careers, something stands out.

The closest to Cabrera is veteran New York Mets slugger Robinson Cano, who is 39 and has 2,629 career hits.

Yadier Molina, Joey Votto, and Nelson Cruz are next on the list, with Cruz not even hitting the 2,000 hit mark.

Needless to say, it will be a long time before we see another player reach 3,000 hits, as Cano, Molina, Votto and Cruz are all around 40 years old.

A long time to come

It’s going to be hard having to wait for that.

Cano has a slim chance of reaching 3000, but it’s very unlikely.

It will be a long wait before another player reaches 3,000 hits.

It’s rare to see one anyway, but it’s going to get even rarer for such a feat to be accomplished.

Maybe 2,500 will become the new 3,000.

There is definitely a chance for Molina, Votto and others to reach this milestone.

But seriously, watching someone hit 3,000 views is special.

Baseball is never wrong when it comes to historic moments and there are definitely more historic moments to come.

We’re just going to have to wait a while for the next player to reach 3,000 hits, and that will be a tough pill to swallow after Cabrera hits the historic milestone.

There are always 2,500 visits.

It is an achievable step.
