Former President Donald Trump has ruled out endorsing GOP Rep. Vicky Hartzler, who is running for U.S. Senate in Missouri.
As Hartzler sought Trump’s endorsement in a tight Republican primary, the former president said in a post on social media app Truth Social on Friday night that voters might “forget” to support Hartzler.
“You can forget about Vicky Hartzler for the Great State Senate of Missouri,” Trump said on the platform.
“I was anything but positive in the sense that I don’t think she has what it takes to take on the radical left democrats, as well as their partner in the destruction of our country, the fake media and of course , the deceivers and the foolish. RINOS,” Trump also said.

The Hartzler campaign brushed off the statement, saying it was only seeking the approval of the people of Missouri.
“The endorsement that matters is the endorsement of the people of Missouri who know I am one of them and have fought for them,” the Hartzler campaign said, the Missouri Independent reported.
