Miranda Kerr Talks Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Skincare and More

Dear! Readers,

It’s my favorite time of year, for several reasons. My birthday is in April, but it’s also Earth Month, a time when we all remember to reflect on our habits and implement small changes in our routines to be more eco-responsible and sustainable. I’m honored to be the E! Earth Month Guest Editor, and I’m excited to share some of the eco-friendly tips, tricks, and products I’ve discovered over the years.

Living sustainably is important, but I know sometimes it can feel overwhelming. It’s important to remember that we’re in this together, and even the smallest changes can collectively have a big impact on the planet. Simply turning off the water while you brush your teeth or turning off the lights when you leave a room are easy actions that add up big, especially if we’re doing all of these efforts consistently. Together we can accomplish a lot.

April is a busy month for me, with several exciting initiatives that I can’t wait to share with you! On April 21, I, along with my KORA Organics team, will be participating in a beach cleanup to celebrate Earth Day and mark the launch of our newest product, Active Seaweed Lightweight Moisturizer. Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do at KORA. My commitment and vision is not only to use certified organic and ethically grown ingredients, but also to ensure that we design and implement sustainable packaging for our products. Like some of our new KORA products, the Active Seaweed Lightweight Moisturizer will be packaged in a glass jar with refill pods made from 100% recycled plastic to help minimize waste.

We decided to combine the beach cleanse with this moisturizer launch because it’s sustainably made with ocean-related ingredients, like green algae. And, of course, this moment coincides perfectly with Earth Day on April 22 and my birthday on April 20. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate all these occasions by giving back to Mother Earth.

Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing some of the ways I’m trying to live more sustainably with habits that are both profitable and easy to adopt. I will also discuss my experiences raising environmentally conscious children and share some of the habits we like to implement as a family. And, of course, we can’t forget wellness. I created Kora Organics to inspire people to be the healthiest versions of themselves, inside and out. I sincerely believe that health is wealth and I want to encourage all of us to take care of ourselves, our minds and the planet in a thoughtful way. It will be a fun, informative and thoughtful month!
