“Milk runs faster than Harry Maguire, Cristiano Ronaldo has to go and Marcus Rashford in a bad mood is not good enough!” – Manchester United slammed after Southampton draw

Another game, another painful result for Manchester United.
The Red Devils played three matches in February and all finished 1-1.
They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough on penalties, worked hard for a draw with Burnley, before a hard-fought point with Southampton on Saturday.
In all three matches, Ralf Rangnick’s men gave away their lead.
United fans are, unsurprisingly, boiling – and neither is talkSPORT’s Alex Crook.
He joined Darren Bent’s Boot Room on Sunday and produced a remarkable rant in which he lambasted the current situation at his beloved club.
Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo were all in the firing line, along with several other failed Red Devils stars.
“[David] de Gea was not the worst performer,” Crook began. “He’s had a good season, but it’s a bit too late because his performance in recent years hasn’t been up to par.

“His distribution is not good enough to be a modern-day goalkeeper, for me.
“Luke Shaw, who we heard utter nonsense saying there were no problems in the dressing room, came out after the game and admitted they needed to improve their game or they would miss the top four – this ship has sailed, there is no way Manchester United will finish in the top four this season.
“And I’ll tell you what Luke Shaw: take your own advice. How can a Premier League player in 2022 not maintain the proper physical condition to be fit enough to walk up and down a pitch for 90 minutes? Shameful.
“What happened to Harry Maguire?” I’ve seen milk turn faster than the so-called captain of Manchester United.

“It was a mismatch when he was against Armando Broja. It was embarrassing from Maguire.
“[Raphael] Varane is supposed to be a serial winner. That’s what we were told when we signed him this summer, but he’s been dragged down to the same level
“He’s not influencing games the way he should, like he’s done before in his career.
“Scott McTominay is a good, honest pro, but he has the footballing intelligence of my two-year-old – he gets caught out of position, he gets caught on the wrong end, he gets stupid yellow cards. Not good enough.

“I loved Bruno Fernandes. He used to be a game winner. Now all he does is fidget, moan, and throw his arms up again. Not good enough at the moment.
“Paul Pogba. Classy, we’re told, but he keeps giving the ball away, never going back. It’s a ridiculous situation that Manchester United are actually giving a player the chance to audition for a move this summer because “He won’t sign a new contract. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the team.
“I love Marcus Rashford. What he represents off the pitch, I think he’s a fantastic role model.
“But I will say it, because a lot of people are afraid to do it, his performance on the pitch has been substandard for a long time.
“He shouldn’t be in the squad based on his form. His body language is poor, he’s in a bad mood. It’s his hometown club! He idolized Manchester United as a kid, he lives his dream but it doesn’t look like it.

“Edinson Cavani arrives when he feels like it. Get rid of it. He leaves in the summer anyway.
“And then there is Ronaldo. He is a microcosm of Manchester United and what they have become. He was a powerhouse, he isn’t anymore.
“Yes, he will still score tap-ins. He cooked up great moments in the Champions League but, in the Premier League, he doesn’t have the legs.
“He can’t do it. He can’t beat a man so unless you put the ball over his head from six yards, Ronaldo is a passenger.
“I got carried away when he signed, like a lot of United fans, but it caused more problems than it solved. He has to leave in the summer.

“That’s why I’m talking about wholesale clearance in the summer.”
Manchester United will be hoping they can get back to winning ways on Tuesday when they face Brighton.
The Red Devils are fifth in the table, one point behind West Ham but one game less at the east London club.
Arsenal, however, are three games behind against the Hammers and are just two points behind them in the standings.
Meanwhile, Tottenham and Wolves are also in contention for the final Champions League spot.
