Miley Cyrus Says She Wears Heels to the Gym

Miley Cyrus’ workout outfit is as glamorous as you’d expect.

In an interview with W Magazine posted Monday (June 3), the 31-year-old pop star said she prefers to go to the gym in heels.

“My mantra is, like any athlete, ‘Train for your performance,'” the “Flowers” singer told the outlet. “That’s why I work out in heels. The gym looks really hard, but I also have my ivory Gucci slingbacks because they remind me of Marilyn Monroe. While working out in high heels surely contributes to Cyrus’ super toned physique, the Grammy winner said the ritual also helps her channel her personality on stage.

The Disney Channel alum said her industry mentors, Beyoncé and Dolly Parton, could relate to having a performing personality.
