Mikel Arteta is set to receive £50m for the January transfer window as Arsenal plot a £26m move for the Brazilian starlet

Arsenal are set to be backed by a budget of £50m as they look to the January transfer window.
According to reports from The Sun, the funds will be available in cold hard cash as the club seek to avoid their title bid being destroyed by burnout.
This could include a move for Palmeiras star Danilo.
The 21-year-old was the subject of two offers from Arsenal over the summer and it is said they could be willing to make a £26m offer to complete a deal.
It has been reported that Mikel Arteta is hoping to add at least two more players to his squad as he looks to maintain his wonderful start to the campaign.
With 11 matches played, Arsenal sit two points clear at the top of the Premier League having won nine of their 11 matches so far this season, including impressive victories over Tottenham and Liverpool.
However, there is a feeling the Gunners could start to run out of steam as the season progresses into the winter months.
Arteta relies on a core group of 15 starters, but with Europa League matches still to play, these players have already played a lot of football this season.

Most notably, this includes Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka who have featured in all 15 games for Arsenal this season.
But after such a promising start to the season, it looks like Arsenal are in no danger of letting the season slip away.
It would also be a big outlay considering they splashed out £130m over the summer on Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos.
