MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell proved Monday that he has no understanding of the US Constitution or the presidential line of succession.
This happened during an interview with Steve Bannon on Real America’s Voice when Lindell doubled down on his questionable conspiracy theory that Trump’s lies will be proven on August 13 (yes, it’s a Friday).
Lindell insisted that after the United States Supreme Court saw its convincing evidence of voter fraud at an upcoming “symposium,” “Biden and Harris would say, “Hey, we’re here to protect the country” and quit!
He added: “I’m serious! If you have a moral character in you, we are all in the same boat. And it was an attack, and you’ll see it at the symposium.
There are a few issues with Lindell’s claim, and not just the fact that more than 50 cases alleging presidential electoral fraud have been dismissed by the courts.
No, Lindell seems to think that if President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris suddenly resign, then Donald Trump would again be declared president by default. In fact, the Constitution clearly states that if both a president and a vice president are unable to fulfill their mandate, the president of the House of Representatives becomes the new chief executive. It would be California Democrat Nancy Pelosi.
As you might expect, Twitter users have done well, so much so that President Pelosi has become a trending term.
Some people have come up with their own false facts to make up for those used by Lindell.
Some had theories as to why Lindell was so keen on promoting his wackadoodle conspiracy theory.
Some have offered Lindell a suggestion on how to avoid being humiliated when her BS claims don’t come true.
