The national-conservative leader of the Brothers of Italy (FdI), Giorgia Meloni expressed himself about the attack saying: “In Turin, a fight between North Africans endangers the safety of citizens and passers-by. The stranger armed with a machete has already attacked several people in the past.

Meloni went on to slam Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese, saying: “Weeks ago the FdI demonstrated in the same street demanding security in Turin and other cities. Lamorgese wake up!

According The Giornale the neighborhood where the attack took place, known as Aurora, has become “unliveable” for residents, according to Augusta Montaruli, a member of the Italian parliament of the Italian Brothers of Turin.
