Messi gets injured and leaves the match

Inter Miami star Lionel Messi was injured during Wednesday night’s clash against Toronto FC.

The 36-year-old Argentinian left the game in the 37th minute. For the moment, we do not know what is bothering the football legend.

Messi played a first match after missing the last duel of the Florida club and a clash of his national team. Fatigue was mentioned to explain his absence from these two meetings.

In 11 games since joining Inter Miami, Messi has hit the target 11 times and provided five assists.

Against Toronto, the Florida club plays the first of a series of six matches in the space of 17 days. Miami is currently eight points and two games in hand on DC United, the team with the final playoff spot in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference.
