Megan Fox was stunned in red at the 2021 Met Gala on Monday.
She arrived at the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” event in a crystal-covered long-sleeved dress with bold details. The red dress had a plunging V-shaped neckline with straps crossed across the chest and matching cutouts on the sides.
Dundas’ custom design also featured a maxi skirt with a large slit that revealed her satin platform sandals and a long train that extended behind her.
Fox’s dress was just as bold from behind. He was backless, showed off his many tattoos, and had a thin thong just above his hips.
The actress completed her look with red lipstick, eye-catching red jewelry – including a ring and earrings – blunt bangs, and a long braid that reached her hips.
Speaking to Vogue on the red carpet, Fox thanked those who made her dress and said each bead was hand-embroidered. She also added that her dress could be considered American fashion because it is “on an American girl”.
E! later reported that it took 50 people to embroider the dress, and that it had to be shipped in pieces and reassembled once in New York City.
