Tuesday night’s 11/29/2022 Mega Millions jackpot was worth $305 million, with a cash value option worth $157.8 million.

There was no grand prize winner on Tuesday, so the Friday 2/12/22 jackpot will increase to $333 million, and no tickets sold matched all of the white balls plus the Mega Ball for the game’s second prize of $1. million.
A group of 11 people picked the numbers on four white balls as well as the Mega Ball, each of which won $10,000, with four of those ticket holders each winning the $40,000 Megaplier prize. There were 371 ticket holders who matched four white balls without the Mega Ball, winning them $500 each, with 83 of them each winning the $2,000 Megaplier prize. The game also saw 969 winners who matched three white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $200, with 246 of those ticket holders each winning the $800 Megaplier prize.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery, and it’s one of the two biggest lottery jackpot games in the United States. Mega Millions jackpots start at $20 million, and other prizes pay $1-2 million or more with a Megaplier.
Mega Millions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1-70, while a yellow mega ball is drawn from balls numbered 1-25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers on the balls drawn to this date.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot, the money is added to the first prize in the next draw.
Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs $1 more per game and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions draw on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn into a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
