Meet the actors who bring Sally Rooney’s ‘Conversations with Friends’ to life
Conversations with friends is Sally Rooney’s latest novel adapted for the small screen, following in the footsteps of Hulu Normal people.
The 12-part series tells the story of Frances, a 21-year-old college student, as she navigates romantic relationships and friendships. However, she is thrown into the deep end when she begins an affair with a married man.
After years of waiting, Conversations with friends is finally available to stream and download via Hulu in the US and the BBC iPlayer in the UK now. If you feel up to it, you can watch the whole series at once or, alternatively, watch on your own.
Unfortunately, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal will not be reprising their roles as Marianne and Connell in conversation between friends, but the series features a star-studded cast you’re sure to fall in love with just as much as you did with normal people.
Newsweek has everything you need to know about the casting of Conversations with friends.
