Meet Lexi Underwood, Cruel Summer Season 2’s New Female Lead

cruel summerThe new lead actress of has officially arrived: Lexi Underwood. The new addition will replace Eloise Payet in the second season of the series. The redesign decision came after a chart read earlier this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lexi previously starred as Pearl Warren in Small fires everywhere and currently represents malia obama in Showtime The first ladywhich premiered on April 17.

But Lexi isn’t the only new face to grace our small screens. In fact, it has already been reported that the second season of the Freeform series will feature a brand new cast.

The second season, which does not yet have a premiere date, will be set in the Pacific Northwest and follow “the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship… from three different timelines around the year 2000,” according to the channel.

Lexi will join previously announced cast members, including Sadie Stanley and Griffin Gluckin the same way Private practiceit is KaDee Strickland and Paul Adelstein.
