Mauricio Pochettino explains Moises Caicedo absence as record Chelsea signing misses Bournemouth clash

Mauricio Pochettinho has explained why Moises Caicedo was unavailable for Chelsea’s Premier League clash at Bournemouth.
Blues fans received more bad news on Sunday afternoon when the matchday squad was revealed regarding their trip to the south coast, and Caicedo’s name was nowhere to be seen.

Chelsea’s squad has been ravaged by injuries this season, with ten players currently on the sidelines with a mixture of short and long term issues.
But now it looks like they can add Caicedo to that list to make it a full 11.
Pochettino confirmed the club’s record £115 million signing, having returned from international duty injured and not even traveling with the squad to Bournemouth.
Speaking ahead of the outing at the Vitality Stadium, the Chelsea manager said: “Caicedo came back with a knee knock.
“We have to evaluate him in the coming days but he was not available today, that’s why he is not here.”
