Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has drawn criticism on social media after a video emerged on social media that appeared to show him walkinging after watching a woman fall from a stage during her team’s Super Bowl celebration on Wednesday.
Video of the incident appears to show Stafford seeing the woman fall and say “Oh my god”, before turning around, sipping a bottle of water and walking away.

Kelly Stafford, Matthew’s wife, who was standing next to her husband at the time of the incident, looked worried and walked to the edge of the stage to see the woman.
The stage appears to be about six feet off the ground. The video also cut out shortly after she went down, so it’s unclear if the star quarterback later helped her or asked for help. The team did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News.

The quarterback has drawn some criticism on social networks.
I wondered the same here hoping she’s okay, it’s a bad look for Stafford to walk away. Luckily his wife didn’t.

Stafford was seen throughout the parade enjoying the moment with his team and appeared to take a long sip of expensive tequila on stage.
“Joe would have jumped in to help him,” a Cincinnati Bengals fan wrote online, the Spun reported, referring to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Others defended Stafford and said the event was chaotic and there were likely people around the scene who could deal with her.
People who disparage Mathew are ridiculous. I understand. Prob not a good look. But there were plenty of people rushing towards her. Including Kelly. Mathew isn’t a villain just because he was like oops I got out.

Bleacher Report said it spoke with the NFL photographer who told the outlet she suffered a broken spine.
Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady — who had his own Super Bowl celebration crash last year — also tweeted at Stafford, encouraging him to drink some water.

Kelly Stafford responded to Brady’s comment, calling her husband’s actions in an Instagram Story “not so professional.”
In 2021, Brady was seen tripping after drinking several avocado tequilas during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers victory parade.
The Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl in spectacular fashion on Sunday, beating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 for their first NFL title since the 1999 season and their first Los Angeles representative since 1951.
