Marshall County man allegedly stole $50,000 in a year and a half

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Arab authorities say a 20-year-old man is behind bars following a robbery investigation.

Arab Police Chief Shane Washburn said a robbery report was filed on February 1, 2022. This report listed Brier Evans Ditto as a suspect.

Investigators say they found Ditto stole about $50,000 from the victim over a year and a half.

Arab police were able to locate and arrest Ditto, charging him with first-degree theft of property from a residence on Walley Drive in Marshall County. Idem was taken into custody on March 29.

Ditto remains in the Marshall County Jail on $20,000 bond.
