Blackburn joined ‘The Faulkner Focus’ to discuss the Democrats’ response as various cities are overrun.
AS TEXAS SENDS THOUSANDS OF MIGRANTS TO SANCTUARY CITIES, LIBERAL MAYORS BLURRY TO RESPOND
MARSHA BLACKBURN: These cities like Chicago, New York and DC, where the mayors are complaining, it was the mayors who raised their hands and said we wanted to be a sanctuary city, and they did that very early on. El Paso didn’t do that. Other border towns didn’t do that. So by sending these migrants, the migrants want to go to these sanctuary cities, these big blue cities. They feel like that’s where they’re welcome, so if these mayors want to change what’s going on, maybe they need to revise their policies, and maybe they need to call the president Biden and say, please secure this southern border. We cannot handle this influx.
