After being publicly accused of abuse in February 2021, the musician Marilyn Manson takes his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood in court for defamation, according to court documents obtained by E! March 2 news.
Manson (real name Brian Warner) filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Supreme Court against the Westworld the actress and her alleged “recurring, recurring love partner” Ashley Gore. He is seeking compensation for damages and an injunction preventing “future wrongful conduct”.
The lawsuit states that Wood and Gore “publicly portray ‘Manson’ as a rapist and abuser”, calling it a “malicious lie that derailed Warner’s successful career in music, television and film”.
E! News reached out to Gore and Wood’s rep for comment and did not hear back.
In the lawsuit, which calls for a jury trial, Manson alleges that Wood — whom he dated from 2006 to 2010 — committed several offenses with Gore, including posing as an FBI agent and recruiting and pressuring others to share false accusations about him.
It also says Gore slandered Warner, created fictitious email accounts under his name, “crashed” him in February 2021, and hacked into his computer files and social media accounts.
