Marcus Rashford ‘doesn’t look happy’ and there’s no chance the Manchester United striker will make England’s next squad in his current form, says Darren Bent.
The 24-year-old had another night to forget on Wednesday as the Red Devils salvaged a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in their Champions League Round of 16 thanks to a late strike from Anthony Elanga .
He had little impact on the game, was sloppy with the ball at his feet and was finally snagged in the 75th minute by Ralf Rangnick.
It’s been a poor season for the United striker, who has scored just five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this term.
And Bent reckons there is no chance he will be in England’s next squad if his current form continues.
“He just doesn’t look happy, that’s the biggest problem,” Bent told Drive.
