Marcus Rashford ‘doesn’t like football’ and Manchester United forward won’t be in England’s next squad given his current form, claims Darren Bent

Marcus Rashford ‘doesn’t look happy’ and there’s no chance the Manchester United striker will make England’s next squad in his current form, says Darren Bent.

The 24-year-old had another night to forget on Wednesday as the Red Devils salvaged a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in their Champions League Round of 16 thanks to a late strike from Anthony Elanga .

Rashford is struggling for form at the moment

He had little impact on the game, was sloppy with the ball at his feet and was finally snagged in the 75th minute by Ralf Rangnick.

It’s been a poor season for the United striker, who has scored just five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this term.

And Bent reckons there is no chance he will be in England’s next squad if his current form continues.

“He just doesn’t look happy, that’s the biggest problem,” Bent told Drive.

He has scored just five times this season

“When he scored the goal against West Ham they all came together, he was smiling and you thought that was it, he’s back.

“But he just doesn’t seem to be enjoying his football at the moment.

“Whether it’s because of the position he has in the team, being at Manchester United football club, you just don’t know.

β€œAt the moment he is not in the England team. He is not playing well enough.”
