Striker Marcos Mena shone this Sunday in San Carlos’s 2-1 victory over P. Zeledón for date 2 of Costa Rica – Opening Tournament 2022. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Marcos Mena (30′ 2T and 45′ 2T, penalty). While the away goal was made by Joshua Navarro (22′ 2T).
Marcos Mena earned applause with his brilliant finish 30 minutes into the second half. With a cross from Christian Martínez, the striker defined with an accurate kick in the opposite goal, from the large area.

Kevin Ruíz was in charge of supervising the order of the game during the match.
On the next day, San Carlos will face Cartaginés at home, while P. Zeledón will play at home against Municipal Grecia.
