Jadon Sancho’s transfer to Manchester United is now official with the signing of England winger Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract.
It has been one of the longest transfer sagas in recent history after the two clubs failed to come to an agreement last summer.
However, the two sides have finally come to an agreement this time around and the Red Devils have their man.
The versatility of the £ 73million star is something Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will also be hugely excited about. He has often been deployed in various positions for Dortmund, including the left wing, the No.10 place and his traditional place on the right flank.
Not only is he an excellent talent, he already knows several members of the United squad thanks to his time in England during Euro 2020 and in previous camps with Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw now good friends. .
And former Liverpool and Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann has put his allegiances aside and hailed Sancho as “the best winger in world football right now”.
Speaking exclusively to the Racing Post, he said: “It’s also a big season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United and I expect Jadon Sancho to be a star at Old Trafford.
“I’ve rarely seen a winger who can beat his man so easily, he drops his shoulder and walks right past defenders.”

Sancho was a key man for Dortmund and over four Bundesliga seasons he played 104 games for the club and scored 89 goals and assists.
These are sensational numbers for a man who only turned 21 in March and has his best years ahead of him and Hamann believes his arrival will be a huge boost for his new teammates.
He continued: “Sancho could galvanize the likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba at United as well. Having watched him in the Bundesliga, he improves other players, creates chances and takes defenders out of position, and we got a glimpse of that in England’s quarter-final victory over Ukraine in the ‘Euro 2020.
“I was surprised that he’s on the outskirts of this tournament, he would be my first choice as a manager.
“In my opinion, not only the best winger for Sancho England, he is the best winger in world football and United fans should be very excited about his return to Manchester.”
