Manchester City vs Liverpool FC: Premier League prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h, odds

Anchester City return to the Premier League after the international break with what has always been one of their toughest tasks.
While rivals Liverpool were not last season’s strength, any meeting between the two teams who have dominated the title scene in recent years is a huge deal.
Jurgen Klopp’s side may be going through a tough time, but beat Pep Guardiola’s men in October and stepped up in big games, such as beating Manchester United 7-0.
City also showed signs of fatigue, but not as much as Liverpool. The champions trail Arsenal by five points after a slightly more inconsistent campaign than in recent years.
Yet they entered the international break having scored seven goals past RB Leipzig before beating Burnley 6-0 in the FA Cup. It looks worrying and City are certainly capable of long winning runs.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Star City striker Erling Haaland has been forced out of the Norway squad which lost to Spain and drew with Georgia in their recent Euro 2024 qualifiers. The 22-year-old suffered a groin problem after scoring a hat-trick against Burnley and the player’s father appeared to suggest he was not fully fit.
Concern: Haaland was injured before the international break
/ PennsylvaniaPhil Foden is another worry who underwent emergency surgery for appendicitis.
For Liverpool, young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic will miss the rest of the campaign with a groin injury. There are reports, however, suggesting that Luis Diaz will be in line to return after his lengthy layoff.
The match is thought to come too soon for Thiago Alcantara but Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo are in contention.
Manchester City vs Liverpool Prediction
Liverpool have stepped up some of the biggest games this season, but City looked to be in worrying form before the break. If Haaland plays, Klopp’s leaky defense surely doesn’t have enough to stop him at the Etihad.
