Man wanted in multiple shootings across Memphis: MPD

MEMPHIS, Tenn.– Memphis police are warning people to be on the lookout for a man wanted in multiple shootings across the city.

Police initially said the man was occupying a light blue Infiniti with a red dealer tag and a shattered rear window. They now believe the shooter is in a gray SUV.

He is armed and dangerous.

Police say they have received reports that they are logging their actions on Facebook. They did not identify the 19-year-old suspect but released a photo of him.

The police do not have a specific location at this time, but they are responding.

Before the alert was issued, there were two separate shootings in South Memphis. A man was killed in a shooting in South Parkway East around 4:35 p.m. A minute later, a woman was injured in a second shooting on Norris Road near I-240.

Police have not officially confirmed whether the suspect is responsible for these two shootings at this time.
