A man has died after being struck by a shuttle bus outside Valhalla Golf Club. According to LMPD, the man, someone who worked with a PGA vendor, was crossing Shelbyville Road around 5 a.m. Friday before sunrise. They said he was in a bus lane when he was struck. He died at the scene, police said. The PGA of America released this statement: “This morning we were devastated to learn that an employee of one of our vendors was tragically struck and killed by a shuttle bus outside Valhalla Golf Club. All of us involved in the PGA Championship. We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones. “Shelbyville Road was closed and all PGA general public shuttles from the Kentucky Expo Center have since resumed operations. The start of the second round of the PGA Championship is delayed. PGA officials say the first hour of departure will be at 8:35 a.m.
