Man injured after collision with SEPTA train in Chalfont, Bucks County

CHALFONT, Pa. (CBS) — A SEPTA train collided with an SUV in Bucks County. The accident happened in Chalfont, where Walnut Street meets School-House Road on the Lansdale-Doylestown line.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

A Chevrolet Trailblazer was partially under the SEPTA train. The 59-year-old driver was taken to hospital for a check-up.

He is in stable condition. No one on the train was injured.

New Britain Township Police are investigating.

The accident did not cause any delay.
