Manchester City are ready to pay more than £ 100million for the England striker, who has three years left on his current contract.

Regarding the latest developments, talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook told Drive: “This has all the signs of a very messy divorce.

“We learned earlier today that Harry Kane has not returned to Tottenham’s training ground as expected.

“He was not to train, but he was to show up and have a COVID-19 test and various blood tests, he did not show up and Tottenham is refusing to comment on this situation.

“Now we understand that Harry Kane will face a significant fine for his actions and that fine could increase the further he stays away from training.”

Crook says Kane essentially “went on strike” to switch to the Etihad, but these attempts only made President Daniel Levy even more determined to retain his star asset.

He continued: “Sure enough, Harry Kane went on strike to try to force a move out of North London after Daniel Levy, in the eyes of the Kane camp, went against a gentleman’s agreement which was concluded last summer that he would be allowed to leave. if Tottenham didn’t win a trophy.

“Kane believes he should be allowed to leave and Manchester City are very keen on signing him and are ready to pay over £ 100million.

“What I was told is that Harry Kane has become AWOL and that refusal to train only made Daniel Levy more determined that he will not be forced to sell.”
