Man arrested outside Royal Mews stables, near Buckingham Palace, for trespassing
A man has been arrested for allegedly trespassing on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, police said.
Officers at the Royal Residence responded to reports that an individual had entered the Royal Mews at around 1:25 a.m. on Saturday.
A 25-year-old man was then arrested outside the stables in the Royal Mews area, adjacent to Buckingham Palace.
He was arrested under the Organized Crime and Policing Act on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site and was taken to a London police station.
The force added: “At no time did the man enter Buckingham Palace or the palace gardens. »
