Liverpool XI vs Aston Villa: Predicted line-ups, confirmed squad news and latest Premier League injuries

The Reds welcome Unai Emery’s side to Anfield on Saturday, looking to claim eight straight wins and retain their slim hopes of a top four finish, even if they rely on Manchester United favours.
Nunez didn’t feature in the win against Leicester last time out, and Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the forward won’t be involved against Villa.
“Darwin will not be available,” Klopp said.
“It’s an inflammation of the tendon in his toe. Obviously very painful. I haven’t trained yet this week, so I won’t be available.
Roberto Firmino trained this week, leaving him in contention for one final appearance at Anfield. Liverpool announced earlier this week that Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will all leave the club when their contracts expire this summer.
The Brazilian is unlikely to start but Klopp will be keen to give him a few minutes off the bench if he fully recovers from the muscle injury he battled. Milner is also expected to be involved but Naby Keita remains injured and Oxlade-Chamberlain has not been in the Premier League squad since early April.
Curtis Jones is expected to keep his place in midfield, having scored twice against Leicester to continue his impressive form. Diogo Jota is pushing for a return to the side, although Klopp could stay with Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo.
