Liverpool players have returned to work as Jurgen Klopp prepares for the upcoming season.
Due to the Champions League final, some Reds players have been given extra time off ahead of the new campaign.
However, it is possible that the first time Liverpool fans see Darwin Nunez is against Manchester United in their pre-season schedule.
The Reds next face Crystal Palace before a game in Germany against RB Leipzig.
Liverpool added another game against RB Salzburg.
So Klopp’s men now have four games before playing Manchester City in the Community Shield at King Power on Saturday July 31.
Then just over 24 hours later, the Reds welcome French side Strasbourg to Anfield.
Liverpool pre-season schedule
Manchester United – Tuesday July 12, 2:00 p.m. – Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok
Crystal Palace – Friday, July 15, 1:35 p.m. – Singapore National Stadium, Singapore
RB Leipzig – Thursday July 21, 6.15pm – Red Bull Arena, Leipzig
RB Salzburg – Wednesday 26 July 7 – Red Bull Arena, Salzburg
Manchester City – Saturday July 30, 5:00 p.m. – King Power Stadium, Leicester
Strasbourg – Sunday July 31, 7:30 p.m. – Anfield, Liverpool
Overall, Liverpool are playing top quality teams which should allow them to test their new signings and prepare for the new year.
But because of the Champions League final and international fixtures last month, it looks like their pre-season will be busy.
Klopp and co then begin their 2022/23 Premier League season with a trip to Fulham.
They then host Palace the following weekend before a trip to United in the top flight on August 20.
