The three-count indictment alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern” of physical, verbal, emotional and sexual abuse “against women and other persons.”

The indictment also alleges that on numerous occasions beginning in 2009, he “assaulted women by, among other things, hitting, punching, dragging, throwing objects at them, and kicking them.”

The complaint also alleges that Combs used his various businesses and employees “to perpetrate, facilitate and conceal his abuse and sex trade.” According to the complaint, his businesses include Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, which include a clothing line, a spirits company, a marketing agency, record labels and a recording studio as well as a media company and television network.

According to the complaint, Combs’ businesses allegedly attempted to engage in “sex trafficking, forced labor, interstate transportation for the purpose of prostitution, coercion and inducement to engage in prostitution, drug crimes, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Prosecutors wrote that Combs was able to secure “absolute loyalty” from members of his companies through “acts of violence and threats” and that Combs’ companies avoided detection for illegal activities through “intimidation, manipulation, bribery and threats of retaliation against individuals who witnessed crimes committed by members and associates of the company.”
