Pre-game notes, 6:20 p.m.

Welcome to Week 12, where the Patriots are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in a prime-time Thanksgiving game on NBC.

The Patriots have won three in a row, including last week’s thriller against the Jets. The Vikings went on a seven-game winning streak with a 40-3 loss to the Cowboys last week.

New England activated offensive lineman Bill Murray from the practice squad on Thursday night, raising questions about the availability of David Andrews.

The veteran center injured his thigh against the Jets but returned to practice this week.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell, who was drafted by New England as a quarterback in 2008, will face Bill Belichick for the first time as head coach.

Belichick, who has won at 50 different NFL venues, is yet to win at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, which opened in 2016.

It is one of two current NFL stadiums, along with Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where Belichick is winless according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

The Patriots have beaten only one opponent, the Jets, who have a record over .500. New England has an opportunity to win on a big stage.
