LIST: When Lake Tahoe ski resorts plan to open for the 2022-23 ski season


LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (KGO) — Lake Tahoe’s ski season got off to a good start after a November storm dumped several feet of snow in the Sierra, but when can you actually hit the slopes?

Here is a list of dates when all major ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe area plan to start operations for the 2022-2023 ski season (all dates are weather dependent):

  • Boreal Mountain Station – Opening on Friday, November 11 at 10 a.m. For more information on tickets and conditions, visit the Boréal website.
  • Tahoe Palisades & alpine meadows – Opens Friday, November 18. Hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The lifts and trails that open will be Gold Coast + Snowventures. For more information on tickets and conditions, visit the Palisades website.
